Capacity Building in eGovernance
Under the Capacity Building programme, Department of IT, GoMP is working aggressively with NISG, where NISG has collaborated with various e-Governance experts from Government/industry and other stakeholders to design a course framework as Specialized Trainings for eGovernance Programme (STeP).
Large number of Government officials is expected to participate in Capacity Building Training courses. Madhya Pradesh is the first state which has completed STeP trainings of all the 8 courses. Success of these trainings lies upon enthusiastic participation from the departments and optimum utilization of newly developed skills in the trained officers. Target is to train 2-3 officials from each department in all the 8 STeP Training courses. This trained workforce will enable departments to effectively conceptualize, plan and implement eGovernance Projects.
