NASSCOM to participate in efforts to increase Investment in State's IT Sector.Information Technology Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya urges IT industry to Invest in Madhya Pradesh, Road show held at Hyderabad.
National Association of Software and Services (NASSCOM) will participate in the efforts to increase in Madhya Pradesh's information technology sector. This decision was taken during a road show held jointly by Madhya Pradesh Information Technology Department and NASSCOM here today.
Information Technology Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya was especially present on the occasion. He urged information technology companies to invest in Madhya Pradesh. He said that Madhya Pradesh government has made concrete efforts for attracting more investment in key knowledge economy sectors like information technology. He hoped that the State Government's partnership with NASSCOM will benefit people of Madhya Pradesh.
NASSCOM announced that it will partner with Madhya Pradesh government in its efforts to develop the state as an IT hub and increase investment. Madhya Pradesh is rapidly emerging as an ideal destination for IT investments since Madhya Pradesh government has paid attention to development of IT infrastructure and making available skilled manpower. Besides large companies, small micro industrialists will also be invited for making investments. Madhya Pradesh government will make available incentives, infrastructural assistance and manpower available for it.
Secretary Information Technology and Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Hari Ranjan Rao said that attention has been paid in the state's new IT policy on attracting more investments. He delved deep into details of Madhya Pradesh government's efforts in this direction.
The IT majors, which participated in this road show included TCS, Mahindra Satyam, HSBC, Butler America, Crane Global Solutions, CMC Ltd., C, i3 Software Pvt. Ltd., Datawise, Ozonetel, Techno Brain, Centhrix Technologies, Ray Biztech, Redson Consultants etc. These companies much appreciated the efforts being put in Madhya Pradesh government for inviting investments. They also got impressed by the seriousness of Madhya Pradesh government in this regard.
